I am a lifelong learner, and I love being an educator. Education is one of my passions, and it is a calling to serve others. I have worked in education for over ten years and enjoy collaborating with outstanding colleagues and families. Besides being an Elmwood Panther, I am a wife and mother to three lovely children. I aspire daily to be my best self and reach greater heights.
Korri Block Assistant Principal
I am a married mom of two beautiful daughters. I love sports, especially baseball and college football. I also enjoy working out and spending time with my family, including our dog, Atticus. My educational belief is that all students achieve academic success through motivation, community involvement, and a supportive staff that feels like family.
I look forward to continuing my journey as a school administrator and am excited for what’s ahead.

Dr. William Stanton Principal
Hello! I'm honored and excited to be the Principal at West Elementary. As Principal, I oversee the academic and social development of students while supporting teachers to deliver high-quality instruction. I received my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Concordia University - Chicago in 2021, and I continue to apply best practices in education to everything that I do on a daily basis.
When I am away from West Elementary, I enjoy spending time with my wife and four daughters. I'm an outdoorsman, and I enjoy fishing, hiking, boating, and spending time at the lake. Everything we do at West is "For the W", and we are eager to stack wins with students, staff, and families this year.
I'm looking forward to a great school year filled with opportunities for our students.
Josh Minsley Assistant Principal
Hi! I'm excited to serve as your Assistant Principal at West Elementary. As the Assistant Principal, I help students solve problems, make sure the school runs smoothly, and collaborate with teachers so that all students learn and grow. I originally graduated from Michigan State University and am a huge Spartans fan. When I'm not at West Elementary, I love to spend time with my wife and two boys. I enjoy riding my bike, cooking, gardening, and fixing things around the house. At West Elementary, we believe that “West is best,” and I look forward to partnering with students, staff, and families this year to ensure that we live up to that promise each and every day.
