Historic Shiloh House Shiloh House is a 25 room mansion built in 1901 as the residence of Zion’s founder, Dr. John Alexander Dowie.

Golf Course

Shiloh Park Golf Course Located in the heart of Zion, Shiloh Park Golf Course is an excellently maintained 2,900-yard, nine-hole golf course designed with golfers of all levels in mind. 

Illinois Beach Resort

Illinois Beach Resort Located within the Adeline Jay Geo-Karis Illinois Beach State Park, the newly renovated Illinois Beach Resort is the only hotel in the state that is nestled along the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan.

Herman Park Center The Zion Park District offers many activities for the old and young alike, with city-wide events and multiple activity centers encompassing the area.

Daniel Park With outdoor activities in mind, the city of Zion hosts 18 separate playground areas.  The count does not include school district playground areas.

Shiloh Park Zion hosts 27 beautifully maintained parks and two golf courses, spanning over 648 acres within its city boundaries.

Zion Band Stand

Shiloh Park Band Shell The Band Shell is located next to Zion Park District’s Leisure Center and is host to outdoor movies, live performances, and community activities.

Lake Michigan Shore

Illinois Beach State Park Reaching across six miles of beaches, Illinois Beach State Park is centered in Zion.  The park offers camping, picnic areas, hiking and biking trails, and swimming.

Shepherd’s Crook Golf Course

Shepherd's Crook Golf Course Opened in August 1999, Shepherd’s Crook Golf Course is a links-style course designed to reflect the golden era of golf, with bentgrass fairways, tees and greens.
