Grades K-8 Special Education

We provide special education and related services for eligible students identified to have a disability and who are in need of an individualized and specially designed instructional plan. In collaboration with staff and families, we:

  • Help children reach their potential through individualized program plans called Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) which promote development based on the child’s assessed level of function and need.
  • Support and educate families to help identify strengths and work with the challenges of children who have special needs.
  • Provide caregivers with information about community-based resources for their children.

If you suspect your child has a disability, talk with their teacher or building principal or call the Special Education office at 847-379-0115.
