Do I automatically get my first choice class?
It is with the greatest commitment to honor students' elective choice(s), however, due to the number of students enrolled, and the limited seats available in each class, we cannot guarantee students will be enrolled in their choice(s). Students who are experiencing issues with their assigned Elective course may contact their school office for additional support.
Why can't I choose my Elective?
Students who demonstrate a need for additional academic support are enrolled in Learning Lab, Language Lab or Resource Study Skills in place of an Elective.
Learning Lab, Language Lab and Resource Study Skills classes allows students to receive individualized instructional support with their core curriculum studies. Once a student demonstrates proficiency in their skills, they will have the option to select and enroll in an Elective course.
