Register a New Student

Zion Elementary School District 6 serves all students who live within the District Boundary Map. Students who reside outside of the ZESD 6 Boundary Map are not eligible to attend ZESD 6.

Every new student is required to submit a Birth Certificate (1), Proof of Residency (2), and Required Health Forms (3) during Registration.

We do not accept hospital certificates. You may request a replacement Birth Certificate from Illinois Department of Health.

4. School Transfer Forms
ZESD 6 requires an ISBE Student Transfer Form for all new students transferring from a different public school in Illinois.  This form must be completed by the principal of the student's most recently attended school.

What to expect during your registration appointment?

• You will submit your documentation and be entered into our student system.

If your main language spoken at home is other than English, during your registration appointment you will schedule an English Language Learners screening appointment.

Once residency documents have been verified, parents or guardians will receive a student-specific Snapcode.

The Registration Application will be completed online.

• Health and medical forms can be uploaded during the registration process. If needed, forms can be submitted to any attending school or the district office.
