Developmental Process

We are proud to share the launch of our new Strategic Plan—a collaborative, visionary roadmap that reflects our district’s commitment to academic excellence, student well-being, and community partnership. Developed through thoughtful collaboration with staff, families, and stakeholders, this plan outlines our shared vision and goals for the future. It serves as both a guide and a promise—to continuously improve, innovate, and ensure every student is prepared for success in an ever-changing world.

 

The strategic plan was developed in three phases: Analysis, Strategy Development, and Action Planning. Strategic planning took place during the 2024–2025 school year, with committee meetings to analyze data, align priorities, and shape the district’s path forward.

ANALYSIS 
September - November 2024
  • Analysis of district performance.
  • Review environmental and organizational trends and issues.
  • Focus group panel discussion.
 
STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT
December 2024 - March 2025
  • Stakeholder design sessions to define future Vision, Mission, Priority Student Outcome, and Portrait of a Learner characteristics.
  • Develop strategic themes, objectives, and measures.
  • District and community-led feedback on draft framework.
 
ACTION PLANNING
April - August 2025
  • Board approval of the final strategic plan framework.
  • Train and support staff and community members.
  • Develop initiatives and measures.
  • Determine phasing.
  • Create action plans for Year 1 initiatives.
  • Develop monitoring processes.
