Shop With a Cop Brings Smiles to Local 3rd Graders

This past Saturday, 3rd graders from Elmwood Elementary and West Elementary took part in the annual Shop With a Cop event at Walmart, where they were paired with local law enforcement officers for a morning of holiday shopping and community connection.

Adding to the excitement, the Grinch made a surprise appearance, bringing smiles and laughter to students and families. Several high school students volunteered their time to wrap gifts. The festive atmosphere included cheerful holiday music, along with coffee, donuts, and juice provided for everyone in attendance.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the participating officers, Walmart, the high school volunteers, our students and their families, and donors for participating in this meaningful holiday tradition that strengthens our community each year.
